Smoothies
Smoothies are one of the easiest, most delicious & effective ways of getting nutrition right into your body! Using a Vitamix blender is all that more effective as the Vitamix blender breaks down the cell walls of the food, allowing the body to absorb all of the enzymes. It's such a great way to start off the day by replacing a meal with your favourite smoothie. Your body will love you for it! I find that when I start off the day with the best meal possible, this puts me on track for making the best ever food choices for the rest of the day!
Green Smoothie
Recipe
1.5 Bananas
1 Mango cheek
1 Kale leaf
1 Celery stick
A few sprigs of Parsley
Juice of half a lemon
Juice of half a lime
Cup of water
Tbspn Bee Pollen to garnish
* Tip * This green smoothie is sweet in taste, however If you are new to green smoothies, you may want to add a Date or 2 for extra sweetness! Also, it can be easy to forget that you're virtually drinking a meal in a glass, so eating the smoothie with a spoon will ensure you're not gulping it down too fast! The Bee Pollen helps with this as it gives each spoonful a nice crunch!
